Upon climbing the ramp, travel west, flying up the mountain ledges along the way, and enter the stone archway. Fly up it and go along the upper-level path until you hit the grove. If you’re still in the Angler Gordo cave, exit it and go down the path until you find a water spout. Remember that Flutter Slime grove mentioned before? Make your way there and head up the ramp nearby. Feed the Gordo meat, particularly Sea Hens, to get it to pop! Image via Slime Rancher 2 | Edited by Prima Games Ringtail Gordo Instead of going here, drop down and enter the cave to find the Angler slime along the end of the path. ![]() Continue along the northern path, heading southeast, until you reach a grove of Flutter Slimes. Go east through the log tunnel and take the left ramp up. Head south of the Honey Gordo towards the area with the color split down the middle. Fly up using your jetpack to access it easier! Follow the pink grass until you reach an open field with a river, honey slimes and various cliffsides. Out of the teleporter, travel south down the path until you find two exits. Travel down this path and turn the corner to find the Phosphor Gordo’s cave. You’ll find a ramp leading down to a pathway by the water. When you exit the Conservatory, head south instead of west. Head west out of the Conservatory and travel through Rainbow Fields. Feed it any food you’d like! Head west out of the Conservatory and travel through Rainbow Fields to the Refinery Transfer node shown on the map. Unlike normal slimes that eat one food item and give a plort in return, Gordos eat anywhere from 15-50 food! When you encounter one, you’ll always want to try to feed them until they (literally) pop. Not only do they drop a bunch of regular slimes, but they unlock access to teleporters, secret tunnels and other normally inaccessible areas. There appear to be a handful of slime sculptures like the ones seen near ruins in the original game in this zone.Gordo Slimes in both the original Slime Rancher and Slime Rancher 2 provide several benefits. The fields seem to be lush with many kinds of plant life, trees and wildflowers growing from the light colored stones of the region. True to its name, the grass in the zone changes color constantly. The Rainbow Fields appears to be a grasslands themed area. Watching it all are the giant, smiling slime statues dotting the landscape, basking in the golden sun and hinting at the wondrous stone structures that Rainbow Island has yet to reveal to its vistors. Happy, hoppy cotton slimes pop from their underground warrens and bounce about the glades, always hoping to land in a patch of delicious water lettuce.Ĭareful explorers will also find ample reserves of jellystone along the hills and cliffs, as well as spouts of deep brine near the banks of the Slime Sea. ![]() Every day is one perfect, unending lazy afternoon in the Rainbow Fields the kind that would make anyone want to stretch out across its prismatic grasses and while away the hours watching marshmallow clouds drift slowly across the sky. ![]()
